Introduction
Before Allaah sent us to the earth, He (swt) decided who our relatives would be. Therefore we must honour and maintain these relationships that Allaah (swt) has established. Unfortunately we find that many Muslims cannot be bothered to keep ties with their kin. They find it burdensome to help their relatives and do not make the time to visit them.

Throughout our lives, we are either experiencing some good, in which case we must thank Allaah for the blessing, or a bad thing is happening to us, something we dislike - and here we must be patient. In both situations, our affairs are good for us as we earn the pleasure of Allaah (swt). Either way is a win win situation, the true Muslim never loses

Introduction
Much of our lives are spent interacting with others. For Muslims who live in a society where they are clearly a minority, the issue of choosing right companions is essential for preserving their deen. Befriending righteous and virtuous Muslims is an essential means for staying on the Straight Path. The Prophet (saw) said, ‘A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend.’ [Abu Dawood and at-Tirmidhee]

Introduction
Sadly, today we find many Muslims unable to tolerate each another and to gain grounds of mutual understanding forgiveness and co-operation. Throughout this country we hear stories of Muslims harbouring hatred towards each other, even amongst those who claim to be on the way of the Pious Predecessors. Since when did the Pious Predecessors ever show the enmity towards one another that we find today. Some Muslims even go to the extent of harming other Muslims both with their tongues and actions. “The examples of believers in their mutual love and mercy is like the example of a body, if one part of the body feels pain, then all the body suffers in sleeplessness and fever” [Muslim]

Introduction
Indeed we are told about the inheritors of the Fire and about the Hell Fire itself in vast detail in the Qur’aan and the sunnah. HellFire itself is stated over 200 times in the Qur’aan. Why then do we forget so quickly about this evil and terrifying abode? Then guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for the disbelievers whose fuel is of men and stones. [Baqarah]

It is part of one’s nature to love laziness and dreams but then Iblees comes and builds upon that. This makes it difficult to struggle against him in that matter. But the one who is alert knows that he is in the middle of a battle. He knows that his enemy does not rest. And if it seems that he is resting, it is actually just part of his strategy
